How to play

Goal

Find every word in the list. Words are hidden in the letter grid in straight lines.

Controls

Drag (swipe)

1. Press on the first letter of a word.
2. Drag through the letters to the last letter.
3. Release. If it matches a remaining word, it lights up.

Tap then tap (no drag)

1. Tap the first letter — it highlights.
2. Tap the last letter.
3. If the straight line between them spells a word on the list, it counts.

Tap the same letter again to cancel a selection.

Allowed directions

Words may run:

• Horizontal or vertical
• Diagonal
• Forwards or backwards

Only straight lines — no bends or zigzags.

Tips

• Scan for uncommon letters (Q, X, Z) first.
• Check the word list for length — a 7-letter word is easier to rule out.
• Use Hint sparingly (limited per puzzle).
• Found a word? Read the short gloss under the board for a mini vocab moment.

Accessibility

• Large print — toggle on the puzzle page or open with large print linked from the footer tools.
• Print — open Print, then use your browser’s print dialog (Cmd/Ctrl+P). Extra chrome hides on paper.

• Clear selection and try the other end of the word.
• Words can share letters with already-found words.
